The regular monthly District Hills Team walks for 2026 are:

4 Apr       Dubh Loch, Glen Muick (Ballater) Dubh Loch, Glen Muick (Ballater) A walk up to the Dubh Loch above Loch Muick

2 May       Morven A Corbett (871m) north of Ballater

6 Jun       Mount Keen bike & hike (from Glantanar)     The first Munro of the year, using bikes to shorten the walk-in.

4 Jul              Glen Eye overnight expedition     An introduction to overnight expeditions, hopefully including a Munro.

1 Aug       Holidays     No walk currently planned

5 Sep       Carn an Tuirc & Cairn of Claise           A fine high level walk between two Munro’s near Glenshee ski centre

3 Oct       Ben Rinnes (Dufftown)       A circular walk over the top and past the ‘bee hives’

7 Nov Gordon Way night hike     A walk from Bennachie to Suie Hill in the dark!

5 Dec Tap o Noth (Rhynie) Xmas Lunch on Tap o’ Noth - A short walk with a festive twist

Anyone can attend but it has to be "booked" in advance.
